KCSA FOUNDATION
EVERY KID DESERVES A GAME.
Bringing stickball, opportunity and community to Kansas City neighborhoods.
The KCSA Foundation helps remove the barriers that keep kids from playing. Through equipment, programming and community partnerships, we're working to make stickball accessible to young people across Kansas City—regardless of where they live or what they can afford.
OUR MISSION
MORE THAN A GAME.
Stickball has always been a neighborhood game. It doesn't require expensive equipment, specialized facilities or years of training. A stick, a ball and a place to play are enough to get started.
The KCSA Foundation exists to make sure those opportunities are available to kids throughout Kansas City. By providing equipment, supporting youth programs and working with community organizations, we can introduce more young people to the game while creating opportunities to play, compete and belong.
Our goal is simple: put more sticks in kids' hands and bring more kids into the community.
WHAT WE DO
OPENING THE GAME TO EVERYONE.
We focus on the simple things that can make a big difference—giving kids the equipment, opportunities and community they need to play.
GET INVOLVED
HELP US PUT MORE KIDS IN THE GAME.
The KCSA Foundation will rely on businesses, community organizations and individuals who believe every kid should have an opportunity to play.
Whether you're helping provide equipment, supporting youth programming or opening doors in the community, there are plenty of ways to help us grow the game.
FOUNDATION AMBASSADORS
CHAMPIONS FOR THE GAME.
KCSA Ambassadors are leaders from baseball, business and the Kansas City community who believe in the power of neighborhood sports and the mission of the KCSA Foundation.
By lending their voice, experience and support, our Ambassadors help introduce more people to stickball, strengthen connections throughout Kansas City and open new opportunities for kids to play.
Different backgrounds.
One shared belief: every kid deserves a game.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD GAME
BUILT FOR KANSAS CITY.
Kansas City is a city of neighborhoods. The KCSA Foundation believes those neighborhoods can become places where kids discover the game, make connections and represent the communities they call home.
Our vision is bigger than simply introducing kids to stickball. We want to help create a game that belongs to the city—and make sure every kid has a chance to be part of it.
A STICK. A BALL. A PLACE TO PLAY.
Sometimes that's all it takes.
